Professor in Horticulture at University of Tuscia, Italy. Main research areas: plant nutrition, biostimulants, and abiotic stress tolerance. Coordinator and principal investigator of many research projects at national and international level. Author of 257 publications on peer-reviewed articles and Guest Editor of Special Issues/Research Topics on plant biostimulants in Scientia Horticulturae, Frontiers in Plant Science, and Agronomy MDPI. Editor of the books: ‘Biostimulants for sustainable crop production’, Burleigh Dodds Science Publishing. Member of the Scientific Committee of www.biostimulant.com. Founder of Arcadia srl, spin-off Company approved by University of Tuscia involved in assessing biostimulant activity.
