Dr. KRK Reddy, a distinguished entrepreneur and accomplished scientist in Plant Sciences, focuses on sustainable agriculture. He founded Sri Biotech in 1994, pioneering eco-friendly alternatives to agrochemicals and gaining recognition from national and international institutions. Dr. Reddy mentored 50 postgraduates, filed 7 patents, and received numerous awards for his work in integrated crop management. Formerly the Managing Director of Sri Biotech until its acquisition by Valagro SPA, he actively contributes to esteemed universities and the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. In 2016, he founded Sri BioAesthetics Pvt. Ltd for microbial products in Indian Agriculture and Global BioInnovations in 2018 for international collaborations. Currently, he focuses on engineering crop-specific microbiomes and nano-composites to optimize nutrient utilization and stress management, with the aim of improving farm productivity, driven by his passion for sustainable agricultural practices.
