Jesús Yáñez is a Mexican horticulturist and CEO and President of the GreenCorp Group, a consortium of five Mexican biotech companies. He has founded 15 firms on agricultural services, agrochemical distribution, and biotech labs. Over 30 years, he has worked on research, development, and commercialization of biocontrol and biostimulant products for sustainable agriculture. He has formulated and distributed more than 100 biological products, including bio-bactericides, biofungicides, bio-nematicides, bio-insecticides, organic herbicides, biostimulants, and biofertilizers. He owns three biotech labs with extensive collections of microbial strains and plant extracts. Earlier in his career, he served as Professor and Head of the Department of Horticulture at UAAAN, Mexico. He was Vice-Chairman for Scientific Research Programming and Evaluation for around 300 agricultural research projects at UAAAN, Mexico. Jesús has received two national awards for innovation in biological-botanical-based bactericides and antiviral formulations (2012 & 2016). He was recognized as "The Mexican Businessman of the Year" by the Latin American Quality Institute in 2015.
