Dr. Alberto Acedo, a visionary in genomics and a global biotech entrepreneur, co-founded Biome Makers with Adrián Ferrero. Holding a Ph.D. in Genetic Medicine, specializing in NGS sequencing and machine learning, Alberto is recognized as a young AgTech visionary by MIT Technology Review and AgFunder. He's a TEDx speaker, European Commission Expert, and GLOSOLAN (FAO) member. With over 5 years of research experience at the University of León and the Spanish National Research Council, Alberto has applied his knowledge at AC-Gen Reading Life. Holding numerous patents and authoring 20+ scientific reports, he leads Fields4Ever, a global soil health initiative with 210+ projects across 4 continents. Recently awarded the Revolutionary Achiever Award 2023 by BioAg World Congress, Alberto's innovations contribute to sustainable agriculture, ensuring quality soil and food.
